World Architecture Festival | Shortlist For 2016 Awards Revealed

Foster + Partners, Zaha Hadid Architects and Rogers Stirk Harbor are only a couple of the famous compositional practices to be shortlisted for grants at the 2016 World Architecture Festival (WAF) it was uncovered Monday.

More than 340 structural ventures - from an extravagance wilderness home in Brazil to a bliss focus in Bhutan - were reported as candidates at what coordinators say has turned into the world's biggest design honors program.

Every section will look to win one of 32 honor classifications before going ahead to challenge for the most prominent WAF awards of "World Building of the Year" and "Future Building of the Year".

A year ago's victor of the pined for World Building of the Year grant was the Interlace, a driven private improvement in Singapore by Netherlands-based OMA and Buro Ole Scheeren from Germany.

Zaha Hadid Architects has been named for its Messner Mountain Museum Corones venture and the Investcorp Building for Oxford University's Middle East Center at St Antony's College while Foster + Partners was perceived for its Crossrail Place station in Canary Wharf, London.

The 2016 WAF will happen in Berlin, Germany, between November 16 and 18.

Contestants will be judged by a global board before the victor is reported towards the end of the celebration.
